In the highly competitive world of Tokyo ramen shacks, how many "delicious ramen" shops shut down in their fourth month because no one ever learns about them?
You need to do something to get people through the door the first time. Who is to say that putting fruit in ramen is any different from putting fruit {especially pineapple} on a pizza?
Please, heller66, stick to your preferred ramen shacks. I'm certain there are many more of them than there are of this.

I am glad to hear the shop is doing well. That way I don't feel guilty for denigrating someone's livelihood when I say this shop seems ludicrous and gimmicky. The chef is clearly talented but it is hard for me to believe he is doing this for any other reason than to generate publicity for himself first and to make delicious ramen second.
